it! She has the confidence and beauty of Corinthian and the aloofness and size of Paloma. Look out, is she gonna be all that and a box of chocolates!
Corinthian also sired a filly by Nadine's mare Amazing. Nadine reported that it "was the nicest filly she ever had" and boy has she has lots of those! What a compliment to my man C but then again I'm not surprised. I knew he was going to be special! Hawk also had another filly this year. We call her Cricket but her owner is going to register her as Kestraliera. She was a paid breeding last year and her dam was our leased broodmare Liera who is known for having large beautiful chestnuts and that is exactly what Beverly got! Cricket is the sweetest baby who is curious about everything! She is the first one to greet you from the pasture looking for any treats that may be hiding in your pocket or hand. asked for a better baby and is just thrilled with her new addition.
We have a few others mares who have come in either already pregnant needing a place to foal or to be bred and kept until foaling so we have quite a few babies running around. What a joy it is to see all the little ones playing the quit-it game and tag around the pasture while their mothers just stand by and observe all the fun! It's so hot that they are content to stand in the shade and just watch the antics!
