more relaxed with each trip. Who would have believed that an unbroken nine year-old with no attachment to people would make such a great partner and friend. He has found a herd with our pack of geldings that travel with us - he has truly bonded with me, and my best friend, Elfta, plus all of our dogs, and is a completely happy and relaxed man. We look forward to heading to Bryce for Labor Day and many other rides to come. I think he has finally found his calling and he definitely has found a forever place in my heart. Thanks Buddy for all the miles. I can not think of anyone else I'd rather spend the time with and look so forward to many more miles over the years! It will be even better when Kyra starts 2008 with us!

Ambersun "Hawk" is also doing great. Instead of endurance he is going to try his hand in the show ring. He has already done very well in sport-horse-in hand over the years so I am sure his transition to under saddle will also...

go well. We have been legging him up around the ranch and the local trails this year and he seems to have matured into a great working man. He will be heading down to train with Clarissa at the Heggelund Training Center this weekend to join his sister DN Angelic "Emma". She just completed her first classes under saddle taking a 1st in the half-Arab hunter class and a 3rd in the open hunter class against 15 quarter horses. You go girl! Remember she also did very well in the sport-horse-in-hand arena so I am not surprised how well she is doing under saddle. She really likes the arena and the shows so I look forward to more good news to report soon!
