| Houston’s Prize (Summer) is a dark bay granddaughter of the immortal Thoroughbred sires and Triple Crown winners Seattle Slew and Northern Dancer. Once a top race prospect, she injured her stifle on the track and was sent to Tranquility Farms for adoption as a broodmare. Her 2004 foal, RHA Ambersun’s Raynne, was high scoring sport-horse-in-hand colt at the Scottsdale Arabian show in 2006. Summer is back in foal to Ambersun (Hawk) for a February 2008 Anglo-Arabian foal. |
